City of Victoria’s Development Options
The following images were taken from the City of Victoria’s “Crystal Block Planning Options”, March 2008. The Cridge Park Rescue Group questions why the City of Victoria is planning development for any park in the city without a mandate from the citizens of Victoria.

Please note that nowhere in the document is the term “Cridge Park” used.
The Park has been unofficially ‘downgraded’ by the use of the term “Cridge Green”, belying 80 years of its use and reference in official City documents as “Cridge Park”.
The Proposed Truck Lane cuts through the 78 year-old CPR Lawn Bowling green and would render it useless.
Another option shows Cridge Park taken over by a building, a plaza and a truck lane.
